JOKE OF THE WEEK
Little Johnny is always being teased by the other neighborhood boys for being stupid. Their favorite joke is to offer Johnny his choice between a nickel and a dime -- Little Johnny always takes the nickel.
One day, after Johnny takes the nickel, a neighbor man takes him aside and says, "Johnny, those boys are making fun of you. Don't you know that a dime is worth more than a nickel, even though the nickel's bigger?"
Johnny grins and says, "Well, if I took the dime, they'd stop doing it, and so far I've made $20!"

There will also be food served throughout the night such as Wings, Pokey Sticks, etc.
The Autumn quarter auction will be happening at this time as well. So you can use the money you've earned to buy some prizes!
Have some fun before getting ready for those finals.

Morrill will even send the cards out for you!
Need to Sell Books?
There will be a table set up in the lobby of Morrill Tower next Monday-Wednesday.
No need to run up and down High Street to resell, you can do it right downstairs!
Quiet Hours
With Finals around the corner, please be respectful to the people on your floor when it comes to noise.
Just because YOU are finished with finals doesn't mean everyone else is, so it needs to be quiet on the floor starting Sunday.
I will only ask you to quiet down once during Finals Week, and if it happens again I will just write you up. Please don't make me have to resort to that.
If I am not around and someone is being too loud ask them nicely to quiet down or call the front desk 614-292-8205 (calls can be anonymous) and an on-call RA or senior staff member will handle the situation.
Everyone has the right to be able to peacefully study for their finals on the floor
Free Insomnia Cookies!
With any order you make, you will get 3 free cookies.
This Friday, December 4th is National Cookie Day, but we here at Insomnia Cookies think that one day just isn't enough. So we're declaring this entire week National Cookie Week! And to celebrate, we want to give you 3 FREE COOKIES on your next order. Use the coupon code COOKIEWEEK and your warm, delicious cookies will be on their way. Enjoy!*

Each year we aim to make it even more memorable as the year before. With that being said we would like your participation and ideas. We are seeking all majors, years, and ethnicities to contribute to the overall planning of the event. As the Communications Co- Chair for the event, my co- chair and I are responisible for all promotions of the heritage as a whole and for each event within the festival- we plan to do this as creatively as possible and we would like you to join us. In respect, if you are not interested in joining the Communications Committee there are other committees that you may be interested in and I will be more than happy to provide you with brief descriptions and contact information upon request. Meeting times will be coming soon and we would all like your participation in whichever committee you may choose. Please feel free to contact me, Carlos Pinkerton (Communications Co-Chair), Kellie Uhrig (Communications Advisor), or Christa Porter (Overall Advisor) for additional information. Newsletter Week 4
So there is definitely some interest building-wide for this. Its looking like there may be a sign-up sheet at the front desk.
However, since the tickets do not expire, this trip may not be happening until the spring so that we aren't all out in the middle of November freezing.
Will let you know for sure after I speak with my supervisor
PENNY WARZ
Supposedly there is a floor that has over $70 raised as of now, just to give you an idea of what to aim for if you are all trying to win the Beat Michigan Week Party. If everyone on our floor donated about $1.30 we would reach $70....
Nov. 7th @ 11am in the RPAC this event will be taking place. The sport will be Dodgeball and we will be competing with all of the other floors for the title as the champions!
We need a floor color/name/and mascot if you want one. Will send you an email about this so that you will have more info!
Want to have a say in what events go on in the building while building leadership experience?
Be the floor representative at the MTAB meetings Mondays at 7pm! MTAB needs at least 2 floor reps from each floor. Get involved!
If you have any questions email the president Daniella Atzinger (.1)
If you would like to give back to the Columbus community and gain some community service experience/hours help out with this event!
On Oct. 28th @6pm-9pm right in our lobby there will be stations set up for children whose neighborhoods are too dangerous to Trick-or-Treat in. There will be candy, face painting, tattoos, etc. Many opportunities to help out.
If you are interested, go to an MTAB meeting to express this interest or email Atzinger.1@osu.edu
So, at my Ambassador meeting I found out some facts about the benefits of recycling that I never knew before. Like everytime you recycle you save the university $40 because it costs more to take trash to the landfill than to the recycling place. That may not sound like a ton, but when it adds up that's a lot of people's tuition that could be paid for (more scholarships available).
Also, RPAC's utility costs are $4 million a year! OSU spends millions & millions on utilities, so think about that when you are leaving lights on and stuff. We as students end up having to help with costs like that by paying higher tuition : /
You all have been pretty good about recycling, proud of you all!
The Adriaticos went pretty quickly lol Glad you enjoyed it. I'm thinking Insomnia Cookies next time. What do yall think?
